Blockchain Nigeria User Group, represented by Obiora Charles Okonkwo, Babarinde Kayode, and myself, was at the recently concluded One-Day Stakeholder Engagement on Virtual Currencies at the CBN Office in Lagos on 27th July 2017.

A very high level kind of conference. We also had a rare privilege of a 10 mins presentation on our activity as a group and the upcoming Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Conference. Over 117 people were in attendance and we even had a white South African guy from Luno Exchange who flew in for this meeting! That's how important it was.

Am glad to say the the CBN is not playing the ostrich after all concerning Digital Currency revolution! The result of that meeting is that, apart from having Mr. Itopa Musa Jimoh of CBN as keynote, the entire CBN Governor's Department Committee on the "Study of Virtual Currencies as an Emerging Medium of Exchange", will be there at the Conference Live!!! That is endorsement! High level endorsement!!! Guys we are on the right path. Its not a joke at all. I could see the fear of loosing their relevance on their faces while there. So, in 16 days, we will be making history! Please keep spreading the word.
